BLOOM

Bloom was a deep space sonic light installation in the once largest room in the world at Temple Works in Leeds for the launch of cultural artist residency project Temple Works Leeds.

At its heart, the installation was inspired by the apparent self revival and reanimation of the derelict mill space brought about by a structural fluctuation in the building causing the building to have a new focus with an artistic program.  The installation took the approach of an energy source emanating from the centre of the space through the projections to ignite over 40 on the columns over 15 minutes to animate the 1.5 acre space to an audience wearing hard hats in complete darkness.
